우울의 지옥에 빠질 땐

날씨가 좋으면 나 빼고 찬란해 보이는 세상에 소외감 느껴 우울하고

날씨가 나쁘면 날씨의 우울함을 흡수해서 미친듯이 우울해진다.

엄마랑 관계된 모든 게 다 짜증난다. 본인이 그렇게 느끼지 않는 모든 면에서 그렇게 느끼는 다른 사람을 무시하고 무신경하게 굴고 늘 구체적이고 개인적인 설명, 하고싶은 기분 이상의 것을 요구해서 짜증나고 귀찮고 짜증나고 짜증난다.

불이 꺼져있다 켜지면 화내고 그게 익숙해져서 켜져있다가 꺼지면 또 짜증을 낸다.

직업에 대해 갖춰야 할 좋은 자세, 태도 같은건 누가 가르쳐주는 것이 아니다. 쉽게 알 수 있는 것도 알려진 것도 아니다. 하지만 그건 분명 좋은 것이다. 누가봐도 명백히 직업에 대한 플러스 요인이다. 그렇게 점수를 더 딴다 해도 뭐라 말하고 싶지만 말하기 뭐한 것이다. 창의적이고 긍정적이고 진심이란 건 그렇게 때론 인간적으로 부당하게 중요한 것이다.

평가자 자신도 모르는 숨은 갈망은 건드리고 제시하기 전에 먼저 한 발 나아가는 것.
